We Now Have Limited Access To Financing with Credit Scores of 580

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan limits are now $424,100. Loans above the max amount are considered to be Jumbo Loans and have higher interest rates but lower closing costs and fees. Some Buyers do opt for higher rate Jumbo Loans to avoid problems with the government mandated QRM and QM Loan Requirements. Jumbos do typically have considerably lesser fees and a lot fewer hoops to jump through.
